We are writing to tell you that we had a wonderful experience at your restaurant yesterday, where we held our son Christopher's Medical School Graduation party. The food and service were both excellent and all our guests' needs were promptly attended to. Many of our guests also complimented the beautiful and spacious dining room where the party was located.
We also want to thank your niece, Enza, for the beautiful balloon arrangements for the tables. She did a great job.
We are very happy that we selected The Olde Stone Mill restaurant to host our party! Thank you for making it a great success, which will provide us with many fond memories for years to come.

Olde Stone Mill Restaurant
Tuckahoe. New York
We were a party of three couples among were your guests Tuesday night, the 31st of December. . . . . While New Year’s Eve is certainly the most challenging of times for a restaurant to present itself in its best light, when we first entered your door, I must admit that we were stunned by the volume of sound produced by those enthusiastic patrons who had arrived prior to us. However, recognizing the nature of the evening we decided to grin and bear it and share in the revelry to the extent that our somewhat annuated nerve endings could handle. AND from that moment on, everything that took place was truly a pleasure . . . . Your entire staff merits a bravo for kindness!
Your greeters were most warm and inviting and as promised, sat us at a table in a room adjoining your primary dining room in an attempt to give us a shot at hearing each others conversation. Your people very promptly placed our champagne in ice buckets ( incidentally, your charge for corkage was very modest ) and just as quickly presented us with a very nice and generous array of hors d’ oeuvres consisting of mussels, baked clams, calamari along with good bread.
However, a little later, finding cross table conversation a bit difficult, one of our adventuresome wives sought and found an anteroom with unused tables where a very sedate group of about ten were dining ALONE. One of your attentive hosts discretely approved and directed the transfer to our new table, moving all food, champagne, and us to a true oasis. One more bravo!
And we were not neglected in our semi-private dining room as your servers presented us with excellently prepared appetizers and entrees. While I cannot recall each of our dishes, I very much enjoyed your roasted duck . . . Remarkably, the skin was indeed crisp while the meat was beautifully moist. The onion soup was of very good flavor. While we clearly had little need, your seductive deserts were also well received
We did eschew the opportunity to wear your nifty celebratory hats and being too stuffy to utilize the fine noise-makers we passed on those, too. Nonetheless, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Each of your staff is to be congratulated for a gracious and engaging manner beginning with your parking people who made us feel good the moment we arrived.
